now, now, bob. don’t go around spreading rumors about folks. they might turn around and sue you for libel! anyway, i got an invitation to a party from some crazy lady. here’s the content of the invitation. tell me if she just made this all up:
howdy, folks!
just a reminder that the party is still going on. p*** and i will bring basmati rice and some TBA vegie indian dish that p*** will cook. we will also bring non-alcoholic drinks. please do email me preferences and requests by the end of the month, or you will be stuck with all vitaminA fortified drinks. heh heh.

okay, bob, here’s a juicy one. a particular experience has proven my theory that possession of a ph.d. is not necessarily an indication of intelligence. i call these folks “dumb ph.d.s,” and there are lots of them out there, sometimes clustered together in one noisy room.
